Scrip: What is it? and Back-to-school sale

What is scrip? Scrip is a program where you purchase gift cards for grocery stores, restaurants, and retail stores. A percentage of your purchase goes towards the reduction of your tuition at Sunnyside Christian School. The exact percentage varies depending on the retailer. We also offer transferable scrip, a great option for those with grandkids attending Christian schools in other communities. We forward your scrip savings on to the Christian school tuition account of your grandchild.

Normally a portion of the scrip rebate goes to help with the operating expenses of the program, but we are having a back to school SCRIP SALE! From August 9 to August 20, you receive 100% of the rebate from local merchants, or 75% off the rebate from other retailers.

To give an example, during this sale you would earn $4 towards your tuition by buying and using a $100 Safeway card. A $50 Macy’s card would earn you $3.75, or a $25 Olive Garden card would earn you $2.25.

Local merchants participating in this program include Bon Vino’s, Melange, and Burger Ranch.

These cards are great to have on hand for your regular shopping, special purchases, and to give as gifts.
